West Seattle Soccer Club (WSSC) strives to offer the opportunity for all eligible players to participate in our recreational youth soccer programs regardless of financial means or limitations. Toward this end, WSSC will offer financial support based on budgeted funding to assist with player registration fees.
General Information
• Financial Aid is available for registration fees only. The member family is responsible for all other costs associated with player participation.
• Financial Aid is granted for one season only. Players with continued need must reapply each season.
• Financial Aid is awarded based on the available budget for that season. Applying early in the registration process is highly recommended; teams do fill up and we cannot guarantee that funds will be available for all applicants.
• Financial Aid is typically given for a portion of the registration fees. Full coverage may be available in extreme circumstances.
• Financial Aid applications will be kept confidential.
Need Eligibility Criteria
• Any member family currently receiving government assistance such as housing assistance, free or reduced school lunch, TANF, or SNAP may apply for Financial Aid support.
• Any member family with an extreme financial hardship as determined by the WSSC Board may qualify for Financial Aid support.
• Note: WSSC may (at its sole option and discretion) require verification of government assistance and/or tax return verification of financial need to determine eligibility.
Financial Aid Application Instructions
• Financial Aid applications must be made by the member family - not by an advocate.
• To apply, complete the Google form listed on this page and email [email protected] with your players name and let us know you have completed the form.
• If your application is approved, you will receive a discount code to use when you register your player(s) for the season.
