Schedules

Coming to South Africa • June 6

Coming to West Seattle • April 11 - May 23

  • The 6-week Spring Season is designed to provide an opportunity for beginning players to experience the fun and excitement of the great game of soccer, and for established players to maintain their touch and fitness while enjoying friendly competition with their peers.
  • Participating players will be placed on teams with colorful jerseys representing many of the 32 teams that will be competing in this summer’s World Cup.
  • All games will be played on Sunday afternoons in West Seattle during April and May.
  • To assure that every player gets a lot of “touches”, all games will be small-sided.
    U6 and U7 players compete 3 vs. 3,
    U8 players will compete 4 vs. 4,
U9 players will compete 5 vs. 5, and
    U10-U12 players will compete 6 vs. 6).
  • There are NO practice sessions* to attend, and NO standings maintained during the Spring Season.
(*Some coaches may choose to hold practices, but WSSC does not reserve practices fields during the spring program.).
  • The cost - which includes a team jersey for the player to keep - is just $45.00 for the season.
  • REMINDER: Spring forward (to the next age group) during the spring. We promote players and teams during our spring season.

For example, if your player participated in the U-8 age group during the recently completed 2009 fall season, you will register your player for the U-9 age group this spring. Players that are 5 years old on or before April 1, 2010 will be accepted for Coed U-6 during the spring. All other age groups are determined by the player’s age on August 1, 2010.
